Together, we are building a stronger, more vibrant, and diverse community.
We are the Ecuadorian Civic Committee of New Jersey, a non-profit organization founded in 2002, committed to representing and strengthening the Ecuadorian community in the state of New Jersey.
Our mission is to promote culture, education, civic engagement, and the active participation of our fellow Ecuadorians, building bridges of unity and solidarity.
We envision a united, informed, and empowered community that keeps its cultural roots alive and actively contributes to the development of American society.
Our values are: Solidarity, identity, respect, teamwork, and community commitment.
Over the years, we have organized cultural events, information campaigns, civic workshops, and activities that foster pride in being Ecuadorian abroad.
We work with commitment for the Ecuadorian community in New Jersey, promoting civic engagement, culture, and social well-being through various activities and events.
We celebrate our roots with festivals, parades, and activities that unite the community.
We provide assistance in times of need: health, paperwork, emergencies.
We serve as a bridge between the community and local authorities.
We provide information on social, cultural, and migration-related issues.
At the Ecuadorian Civic Committee of New Jersey, we organize events and activities that celebrate our culture, strengthen our community, and promote Ecuadorian pride abroad. Here, we share our most iconic projects:
Annual recognition of outstanding Ecuadorians in various fields such as education, community, arts, and sports.
Cultural contests that promote Ecuadorian identity, youth leadership, and pride in our roots.
Annual religious celebration that unites the community in faith and reflection for the well-being of Ecuador and its diaspora.
Cultural event with live music, traditional dances, Ecuadorian cuisine, and art exhibitions.
The most important parade of the Ecuadorian community in the U.S., with delegations, traditional attire, and national pride on the streets of New Jersey.
